Hey Lecturer Mark =P
I voted 'I Heart Me' but I also like 'So Sexy It Hurts' - they're both very 'you' ministry, 'The Trouble with Paris' etc. I think those would grab the attention of the unexpected readers too. I think I like the title 'I Heart Me' better, but the explanation of 'So Sexy It Hurts' grabs me more, and would for a lot of teens and chicks struggling with who they are in the world.

"I heart me" will attract older readers to understand the younger gen as well since they can't get over the self obsession of the Y's.
Looking forward to it :)

I voted "I heart me" purely because its great paradoxical name to the subtitle which has a community voice in it with 'we'.
Also its shorter, clearer and easier to understand.

My 2nd is Sexy/Cool/Glam/Holy - again as its a bit paradoxical, but the subtitle i feel is a little too long.

What would appeal to me and sell books may not be the same I went for The horizontal self but with some more info on who you want as core audience happy to share other thoughts!

I should say, that's why I prefer the 'we' based subtitle.

I heart me for sure.

Agree about the subtitles - also I'm not sure if you meant it to be ironic, saying -'helping YOU to discover YOUR true self' because it sounds like a self-help book about your true destiny - It may well be accurate but wording it that way makes for a pretty me focused subtitle, given the message of the book?

Can I vote for a combo deal? With the title "So Sexy It Hurts" and the subtitle "How Biblical Faith can help us discover who we are in an age of self obsession".
This is the most concise subtitle, and i think gets the message across best, but i thought the "I heart" title was a bit cliche. The other subtitles seem like they are trying to fit too much info into them...

Hey Mark, Some interesting titles to pick from. I think all the sub-titles need tightening. I heart me is good but also plays directly into the secular view, which could cause some confusion in more conservative hands... I really like Sexy/Glam/Holy as I think it encapsulates what people want faith to be now, shiny and set apart... Good luck!
Can there be someting about enduring/lasting truth vs the throw-away society for the sub - hmmm, a challenge for my editorial compatriots!
No idea what the horizontal self is either - perhaps too defined to be the focus of a title...
You go fella!
